The VOlkSWAGEN GROUP has 47 manufacturing plants worldwide, through which it is represented in 12 European countries (Germany, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine) and 7 countries in the American continent, Asia and Africa (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, China, India, South Africa and Israel). In all of its plants the concern manufactures an average of 21 500 vehicles daily. Vehicles are produced for more than 150 countries.

In 2006 the VOLSKWAGEN GROUP manufactured a total of 5 600 000 vehicles, an increase of 8.4% compared to the previous year.
